Levante Jornada 1 Malaga

The city of Malaga is currently one of the most important cultural destinations in Spain. It sits on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, and it is internationally known as the capital of the Costa del Sol.  For decades, it has been the most popular Andalusian destination for tourists seeking sun and beaches.

Sunseekers still flock here, but it has recently become a city of museums.  It is home to 40 museums, most of which are in the historical city center, making it a leader in its field.

Málaga will give us a warm welcome, and our first destination will be one of the sacred temples of flamenco in this city: La Peña Juan Breva, founded in 1958, which was the first Peña Flamenca to be established in Spain.

This old building in the historical city center is a meeting point for real flamenco fans and artists from Malaga, and it is also home to one of the most interesting flamenco museums.  We will have a seafood dinner and then enjoy the flamenco fiesta thrown by local artists.
