Guadalquivir Jornada 4 Jerez

The intense experiences of art, architecture, and authenticity that we will have enjoyed in Córdoba will stay with us we travel south to the city of Jerez, which is about 90 kilometers from Seville.

We will stroll around the streets of this historical city, visiting some of its most outstanding monuments, which will remind us of the different civilizations that have inhabited this area over the centuries.

Jerez is internationally known as the City of Wine, as its wines have been exported to many countries for centuries. This reputation is reflected by the fact that the first Denominación de Origen (a certification which recognizes the geographical origin of an exceptional product), in Spain belongs to Jerez for its sherry.

Our first stop of the day will be a visit to one of these magnificent wineries.

After an excellent lunch, we will move on to a gitano flamenco fiesta, at which we will discover the flamenco style of Jerez, and we will be transported to a magical world of sounds and rhythms that can only be enjoyed in the presence of these local artists.
